Giorgia Marino
I have graduated from the University of Turin in Communications and I am a freelance journalist since 2000.
I’ve worked many years as a reporter in local newspapers. From 2004 to 2007, I was in the editorial staff of “Teatro/Pubblico”, a bimonthly magazine published by Teatro Stabile Torino (one of the most important public theatres in Italy).
I was in the staff of many cultural events and I’ve edited promotional material (brochures, theater programs, web sites or blogs) for various festivals and cultural exhibitions, such as Torino Spiritualità, Circolo dei Lettori, the theatre projects RiGenerazione and Progetto Domani (for the Winter Olympic Games 2006), the first edition of Bookstock for the International Book Fair of Turin.
I've been working as a freelance journalist, web/social editor and press officer since 2008. I write about culture, innovation and environment for various magazines, including lastampa.it/tuttogreen (the online version of an important Italian daily newspaper). I've been the director of greenews.info (a national website about environmental themes and green thinking).
I love theatre, music, travels, photography. Most of all, I have an unbridled passion for cats, books and tea.
